Ind vs BAN 2nd Test 2022

 After the end of the New Zealand Tour 2022, the Indian team is on the Bangladesh tour after a gap of 3 years. Team India traveled to Bangladesh for the 3 matches one day and 2 matches test series. The 3 matches ODI series started on 04th December 2022 and the matches ended on 10th December 2022. Bangladesh Cricket Team won this series by 2-1. Earlier Rohit Sharma was the captain of team India, but unfortunately, Rohit Sharma was injured in the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh and was out from the whole tour including the test series. India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test Match Date 2022

Before the test match series between India and Bangladesh, Bangladesh won the ODI series by 2-1, where the first ODI match was played on 4th December 2022, which was won by the Bangladesh Cricket team by 1 wicket after that 2nd ODI was played on 7th December 2022, which was won by Bangladesh by 5 runs, and in the last, the 3rd ODI match was played on 10th December which was won by Indian Cricket Team by 227 runs.


After the thumb injury to Rohit Sharma, he will not be available for the 1st Test against Bangladesh, for which BCCI made the replacement and Abhimanyu Easwaran joined the team India and for captaincy KL Rahul will lead the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma. Fast bowler Mohd. Shami and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are yet to fully recover from their respective shoulder and knee injuries and are ruled out of the Test series. The selectors have named Navdeep Saini and Saurabh Kumar as replacements for Shami and Jadeja respectively. The selection committee has also added fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat to India’s squad for the Test series.


Before the 2nd Test, the Indian team won its first test match against Bangladesh. In the 1st Test Match, the Indian team won the toss and choose to bat first. In the first Inning, India comes to bat and scored 404 runs after that Bangladesh, comes to bat and scored 150 runs. Now in the 2nd inning, India again bated and scored 258-2, where Bangladesh get a target of 512 runs. In chasing the score Bangladesh all-out at 324 runs and India won the 1st Test by 188 runs.
